and the president himself said he's okay with calling it obama care. here's what i want to talk about. exactly what was the issue when the president and his party had a filibuster proof senate? okay? filibuster proof. because every time i do a speaking tour and i talk about this, many people say, well, it didn't last long. it doesn't matter how long it lasted. but i was up for three hours last night researching it. of course, here's the date. from july of '09 to august of '09, filibuster proof. of course, that included two independents. one was mr. lieberman. vice presidential candidate in another day. and the other one was bernie saunders from vermont. socialist, independent, whatever you want to call it. here's the biggest slab. all told a little bit less than six months filibuster proof. and they owned the house. and they had the white house. so why is it exactly that they couldn't pass right in the midst of this on christmas eve the biggest, most complicated piece of legislation but never heard anything about jobs, which i hear now laser beam focus
